Various Cruelties --> http://www.variouscruelties.com/
Went to Brighton to watch Liam and Various Cruelties at the Queen's Hotel. Brighton has become one of my favourite places in the world, wanna go back already. The people are amazing, the pubs, the bars, the shore, the pier kind of everything.

Today I've been having a shoreditch-sunday and ended up with watching arsenal-aston villa at a pub on Caledonian Road with Lisa. Wanted to see liverpool-tottenham but it wasn't on, they lost sadly enough. Now all my hope lies with the three kronors, go sweden! Hockey is our thing.

Met up with dave & rick in camden to watch the footy. Altough I'm a liverpooler I'd rather see chealsea win than manchester (for liverpool reasons). They played like shit though, but it was fun to watch.

I'm so bored ftm. Been working too much with my essay about the rwandan genocide and how much the belgians are to blame for it, just wanna write one word; YES. But nO, I have to explain why for 2000 words haha.
Now I'm waiting for someone interesting to go on skype while listening to explosions in the sky. Fantastic tunes, all instrumental for the singer died but the band kept doing their thing. give it an ear or two!

Now it's monday, bloody freezing and Usama Bin Laden is dead and on top of everything I'm flying back to London! I have so much to do which I haven't done for school so I might bury myself but I'll probably survive.

Det kanske är fel, men en bra metafor

Photobucket
Yesterday I had a gig at Brixton Bar & Grill, went on nicely. Johan filmed the whole thing and took some pictures so that may come on the blog later. I've been trying to get some colour on my pale body cause the sun here is immense. Got a bit nostalgic as well so the song of the day will be:

When I'm with you baby, I go out of my head

Just realised how much I miss my dear friend Ellen. Drinkin homemade ice tea on her balcony listening to vinyls like Depeche Mode and Creedence Clearwater Revival. It's going to feel so good to meet her again, to meet everyone actually. But my feelings are divided cause I really don't wanna leave London, even though it's only for about a week. Been preparing a bit for my gig at Brixton bar & Grill, step by if you fancy, about eight o'clock.

That's one of my new found friends in London. His voice is magic and he's walking the up the stairs of success. Give it a listen. First heard this song at my friends bbq in Canary Wharf and it's become quite close to my heart.

Flicking fire like saltwater into my eyes

Great band, would almost kill to be in that audience.

Today it's pancake day so my hostmum is downstairs preparing and I'm up here trying to concentrate on an IELTS essay that has to be done for tomorrow. I HATE IELTS, most boring course in the world, necessary though, but so boring.

We went to see "The 39 steps" at Criterion in Picadilly. It was a jolly good show, I love Hitchcocks films. Only 4 actors who played all the different characters, such an amazing effort they put in to it. Totally recommend everyone to see it!

Sweet Sir Galahad

Photobucket
Woke up and made breakfast for me and mum. Afterwards we went in central to carnaby street which has changed sadly enough to a tourist trap, when mum first came to that street in the sixties she was 15 years old and the street was filled with small boutiques with amazing stuff. Now there isn't that much to see which is sad.
After we went to beyond retro at Great Marlborough street where I bought this jumper. We ended up eating lunch at hard rock café.
Now we're just sitting in the sofa watching Friends and tonight at eight I'm gonna see my first musical. 39 steps, really looking forward to it 'cause I'm a real Hitchcock fan.

Mum arrived from heathrow with a half full backpack of swedish stuff for me. I almosted started crying when I saw it, best mum in the world!
